I was reading this book for the past week, actually I finished reading in a few days ago, wanted to blog but procrastination settled in.
The book is entitled Opening the Door of Your Heart and many other buddhist tales on happiness by Ajahn Brahmavamso. Since it's a buddhist book it cant be found in popular and other major bookshops islandwide, one can only find it in buddhist bookstores and libraries.
Actually I gt the book for my dad as a bdae gift but it was outta stock when i went to purchase it last month. It only came in last last week. Before I had the chance to give it to my dad, i took a peek into it and "bu zi bu jue" it was hooked on it!
Its just practically stories and methaphors that illustrates the human life and troubles that we go through and how to be happy despite all the problems that we have. The writer is one very funny angmoh monk (i attended his talks b4), he's very very wise as well. So the stories are very funny and yet has deep meanings behind them. It isnt meant only for buddhists la, I think that anybody can read it.

It left me thinking abt my own happiness and how to treasure it and how to seek it. :)
