went to harbourfront centre last night. havent been there for a month plus, went to fetch my dad. His ferry was damn slow la, the normal journey should have been an hour but last night it was like an hour and forty five minutes. So me, my mom and sisters stood there for ard an hour at the arrival gate.
While we were waiting for the ferry named Penguin Sakra, there was this lady in her mid 20s, with her arms handcuffed, was escorted out of the customs. My prediction is that she tried to smuggle drugs or some other illegal things. She looked decent leh, not the sort that will do such things. Maybe a syndicate hired her to do it, luring her with a great amount if money. The scene wasnt one that was exagerrated, it didnt catch attention from the member of the public, except for mine la i guess. Her handcuffs were hidden under her long sleeve blouse, but part of it was sticking out, and she was sobbing while a civil defence lady officer walked her out with her arms around the acused sholder. Interesting... ... I wonder if such incidents happen every day at the customs and immigration of various checkpoints in spore... Being a customs officer isnt easy hor.
